QUOTE OF THE DAY (OR MORE): "No, no. You don't understand. This is an '89 Calico. I'm pretty sure that exceeds the Kelly Blue Book value. The cat's totaled." --A comedian whose name I forget talking about a vet who presents a $3,000 bill for a 12-year-old cat

Nonverbal communication

Without even muttering a "woof," Sophie has made it quite clear what she thinks of being left in her crate during the day.

But she's really cute, isn't she?

  1. She is very cute! You'll have to start running in the morning and taking her with you. After a 10 or 15 mile run she probably won't mind staying in her crate for the rest of the day :-)

  4. She just didn't like that doggie mattress! She wanted something with a little more color, I think.

  5. She was being subtle. The obvious approach would've involved her taking a dump.

  7. Tell Sophie it could always be worse: Daisy's drugged and sporting a cone; having just had all her girly bits removed without her consent or prior knowledge this morning.

  8. Leave ME in a crate and I'll do precisely the same thing. Sophie's a wise, wise doggie.

  12. OH MY FUCK.

My dog is named 'Sophie' and does the EXACT SAME THING.

Maybe we should rename our dogs.

  13. They do have a way of telling us exactly how they feel don't they!

I love Sophie, grotesquely huge and all!

  14. She's so pretty! I'm assuming German Shepherd, and I want one someday. Sadly, right now I don't have the means or a large enough home to accommodate a big dog.

    Dare to dream.
