I walked into my almost 13-yr-old son's bedroom this morning; I knew he was awake because I could hear him singing. I climbed in to chat.
"You are always singing," I pointed out the obvious.
"You know those theme songs in movies that go along with the scenes?" he matter of factly questioned.
"Yeah," I answered.
"Well there aren't any in real life so I make my own."

Aw, so cute and clever! I've done that sometimes -- when I think my life is just really boring and blah I will pick a song and pretend someone is doing a movie montage of my life.

I think that's very cute. Although if my kid sang all of the time I'd probably be crazy...
