QUOTE OF THE DAY (OR MORE): "No, no. You don't understand. This is an '89 Calico. I'm pretty sure that exceeds the Kelly Blue Book value. The cat's totaled." --A comedian whose name I forget talking about a vet who presents a $3,000 bill for a 12-year-old cat

Blog break

Next week (well, tomorrow, technically) I'm off to London on business, and schlepping along the 2 boys and the husband as well. After London we're jaunting to Paris for a few days via the Eurostar train...

So... probably no blogs next week, in case you're wondering what happened to me. While idealistically I intend to blog while I'm abroad, realistically I will likely only be collecting blogworthy material.... I will miss my daily chuckles and inspirations reading the posts of all my fellow bloggers!

  5. LOL. Shawn beat me to it. I was going to a "take me take me take me (are we there yet)" kind of comment. Now he's probably already hogging all the space in your suitcase. I can tell you from reading his blog that taking him is going to be big trouble. He's just too unpredictable and into too many things. And you already have too many boys, too. You need a GIRL to go with you. I am very well behaved and if I have a good book I will totally be quiet and you won't even know I'm there. Except when I'm ordering lots of room service.

  6. y'all are cracking me up! I wish I could take you all with me, too. This will be my first flight across the pond with the kids in tow, so I will miss my nice long "me-time" flight with wine and Sonesta.... Unfortunately, London is all work for me, but pas Paris...

  7. Listen to her... it's all about HER. Me me me. Can't she see it's really all about ME?? I don't understand how people can be so selfish.

Okay, all kidding aside (well most kidding aside maybe) -- I want whatever kind of work you have that is taking you to these places. Are there any openings?

Please feel free to let me know what you think - especially if you like it. If not, please reconsider (just kidding!) I can take constructive criticism! Really I can...
