My 91-year-old grandmother is peeved.
Apparently her grocery store, Giant, moved a mile or so from its previous location. Now, to her chagrin, she can't "get her hair done, buy groceries, and pick up her liquor" all in the same shopping center.
Life is full of challenges....
If she gets the liquor first, she won't care.
ReplyDeleteAhhh Grannies. Aren't they the best!
ReplyDeleteThank goodness the liquor store didn't move. Although I would probably travel farther for wine than food.
ReplyDeleteDid you know that there are no major grocery stores left in Detroit? Imagine!
ReplyDeleteha ha ha...that would be a problem for sure.
ReplyDeleteold people do not like change, do they?
ReplyDeleteLOL....Giant (PeaPod) grocery delivery would solve that problem.
ReplyDeleteI'd be pretty peeved too!
ReplyDeletethat's the worst thing i've heard all day.
ReplyDeletethank god my liquor store is next to starbucks, ann taylor loft, and superfresh. best shopping center ever.
I think I like your 91 year old grandmother!
ReplyDeleteShame on Giant. They should have consulted Grandma first.
ReplyDeleteShe sounds great and I would be ticked too and I am 38. By the way, we Canadians always have to make an extra stop for our liquour:(
ReplyDeleteis there no walmart nearby? yesterday, i got my hair did, my nails cute, had an eye exam, bought some deodorant, and ate a subway sandwich.
ReplyDeleteI get my hair done AT the liquor store.
ReplyDeleteChange = Bad
